A Journey of Purpose

Founded by Amita Amlani, the organisation draws from her lived experience of supporting her two neurodivergent children. This led her to retrain as a Specialist Teacher and Assessor for Specific Learning Difficulties.

After more than a decade in the UK's special educational needs system, she spent nearly three years engaging directly with schools across India observing classrooms, working with educators and families, and supporting students. Neurowise Academy Foundation was created in response to what she found.

At the heart of our work is a simple belief: every child deserves to be understood.

What Drives Us

Our Vision

An education system where every child, regardless of background or neurotype, is recognised, understood, and empowered to thrive.

Our Mission

To strengthen inclusive education in India by improving early identification of learning differences and building the capacity of educators, families, and communities.
